Built from the ground up

Forged under pressure, built to hold. That's every car we touch, every person we teach.

The Story

Yunquey Y Firmeza Auto started with a single Honda Civic and a lot of patience. Over six years of hands-on work, teaching myself electrical systems, then diving deep into manual and automatic transmissions. I turned a personal project into a real skill set, returning to school to learn and that skill set into a business.

Before cars, I spent time building aircraft for Boeing, so precision and following procedure isn't new to me. It's the standard I hold every job to.

The Meaning Behind the brand

Yunquey Y Firmeza means "anvil and steadfastness." Just like tempering gold on an anvil, building something worth trusting takes pressure, patience, and repetition. That's the philosophy behind every repair: no shortcuts, no guesswork, just the discipline to do it right.

The bigger Picture

Long-term, the goal is bigger than one truck and one set of tools. I want to grow this into a shop of my own, and eventually a nonprofit that teaches the next generation how to work on cars and build something of their own with that skill.
